Cathy Garling

is a strategic leader, executive coach and advocate for experienced talent, with more than 25 years’ experience leading people centred organisations across the charity, not-for-profit and private sectors. She brings deep expertise in operational leadership, governance, financial sustainability and building high performing, values driven teams throughout her career.

Cathy has held senior leadership and CEO roles, working closely with Boards, funders and senior leaders to turn strategy into action, guiding organisations through periods of growth, transformation and change. Cathy brings deep expertise in operational leadership, governance, financial sustainability and building high performing, values driven teams, with a strong track record of turning strategy into practical, measurable outcomes.

Earlier in her career, she led large teams and complex transformation programmes, delivering improvements in customer experience, retention and revenue. These roles provided her with first hand insight into how organisational systems, processes and unconscious bias can unintentionally exclude experienced professionals from opportunities.

Alongside her leadership work, Cathy is a CIPD Level 7 qualified professional and an ILM Level 7 Executive Coach and Mentor and the founder of EVOLVVE Coaching. Through her coaching practice, she works with individuals and organisations to build confidence, challenge limiting narratives and navigate career transitions, including redundancy and returning to work.

Inclusive talent is central to Cathy’s approach. Through her coaching, voluntary work with the CIPD Trust, and her own lived experience, Cathy is a passionate advocate for professionals aged 50+. She co-founded Elevating50 to help rewrite the narrative around age and work, supporting experienced professionals back into meaningful roles while helping organisations become genuinely age inclusive employers that recognise experience as a powerful asset.

Lucy Andrews

is a Talent Acquisition transformation expert who has built her career as an interim specialist, delivering results driven change across complex global organisations.

For over two decades, she has been a trusted advisor to businesses navigating critical moments of transformation; auditing recruitment processes, candidate experience, operating models and technology ecosystems, then designing and implementing solutions that are genuinely fit for purpose.

Lucy combines a deep commitment to human centred design with expertise in AI, recruitment technology and modern talent strategy. Her work focuses on building high-performing TA functions and exceptional candidate experiences that are efficient, equitable and built to endure.

Inclusive hiring sits at the heart of her approach. She has championed anonymised recruitment technology to reduce bias, designed returnship frameworks that reconnect experienced professionals with meaningful work and advised senior leaders on DE&I strategy at the highest level.

With a clear understanding of the structural barriers experienced candidates face, Lucy knows how to identify the points of friction within hiring systems and crucially, how to redesign them from the inside to create fairer, stronger outcomes for both people and business.
